Mitch Waks’ Story

My daughter won a National Merit Award for Spanish. Certainly her dedication, hard work and aptitude were a part of her success, but I know her years at RJA played a role, too.

Studies show that the synapses for learning a foreign language are most ripe when a child is very young. At RJA, Arielle studied Hebrew 5 days a week. She learned about adjective placement, about verb tenses and gender conjugation. I’m sure that’s why she was able to learn an entirely different foreign language with ease.

That’s just one subject! MICDS is a competitive school, and she was incredibly well-prepared. I’ve even felt that some of her middle school classes are not challenging enough. I anticipate that my son Dylan will have the same success when he begins MICDS in the fall, and I am ever grateful to RJA for the outstanding academic experience. My children are better learners, better leaders and better people because of their years here.
