  4. Schedule a Student Screening

Students entering kindergarten are scheduled to visit a kindergarten classroom with other applicants. The in-house screening lasts an hour and gives the school and prospective students an opportunity to begin to know one another. While children visit the classroom, parents are invited to meet informally with administrators, teachers and current parents. Late applicants who miss the scheduled group visits are required to have an evaluation with a learning specialist.

Students entering grade 1 may participate in a group visit with other applicants or may be scheduled for an individual visit.

Students entering grades 2-5 are required to spend a day in a classroom. During their visit, prospective students participate in all classroom activities.

  5. Admissions Decisions

Upon completion of all steps in the application process, the admissions committee meets to determine the admission decision for each applicant. Families who have completed the admission process may be notified of the admission decision by March 15. A signed enrollment form and non-refundable tuition deposit must be returned within two weeks of acceptance to reserve a space in the class.
