need-based tuition assistance
We are committed to making our school available to a diverse community of parents and children, and offer need-based tuition assistance to families showing a demonstrated need.
To assist in making objective decisions about tuition assistance, RJA uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to assess a family’s ability to pay. A recommendation from SSS is brought before the tuition assistance committee, which consists of individuals who are not currently parents at the school. The committee recognizes that the SSS report may not accurately portray the whole picture of a family’s financial situation and welcomes a letter that may clarify family finances.
Tuition assistance is awarded on an annual basis based on available dollars. In keeping with RJA’s core values, all information received and discussed by the committee is kept strictly confidential.
Complete and submit a financial statement form online or call the school office for a printed application. The RJA school code is: 2272. We must receive a report from SSS by January 31. Allow at least 3 weeks for processing. Any report received after January 31 will not be included in the initial tuition assistance distribution, and will be considered only if additional dollars are available.
Decisions regarding a child’s qualifications for admission or re-enrollment are in no way connected to decisions regarding tuition assistance.
