students planting flowers

“Though they are still young, the students at RJA already have shown the capacity and desire to accept responsibility to make the world a better place. We are thrilled to include the school among our philanthropic priorities.”

carob society

The Carob Society honors donors who give $1,000 or more annually to the school's fundraising efforts. The name refers to the Talmudic tale of an old man who plants a carob tree for his children and grandchildren, knowing that he himself will not live to enjoy its fruits. Like the hero of that story, the extraordinary philanthropic commitments of our Carob donors will plant the seeds for a vibrant, confident, compassionate Jewish tomorrow.

Carob Society donors are celebrated each year at an event in their honor, and are recognized in our newsletter, Gala ad book and on the hallway of our school.

Carob Society giving levels:

  • Carob: $25,000 and above
  • Palm: $10,000 to $24,999
  • Olive: $5,000 to $9,999
  • Pomegranate: $2,500 to $4,999
  • Acorn: $1,000 to $2,499
