“Though they are still young, the students at RJA already have shown the capacity and desire to accept responsibility to make the world a better place. We are thrilled to include the school among our philanthropic priorities.”

“why i give”

Esther Lyss-Greenstein

Before its doors ever opened, I was already hooked on RJA. I felt strongly that Reform Jewish families in St. Louis should have a liberal day school option — one that offered the highest quality of both secular and Judaic studies. So when I heard about plans for a new Reform day school, I called Marsha Grazman and asked how I could help.

Back then, a school with 90 students seemed a far-off dream. The growth is a testament to the amazing work of our administrators, spectacular teachers, and the many volunteers devoted to the role this school will play in sustaining our Jewish future.

I continue to be amazed every time I enter the building… by the impressive poems, paintings and intellectual materials on the walls…by the insightful class discussions I hear when I peek into classrooms…and by the self-confidence and Jewish identity that emanates from the school.

I will continue to support the school with pride as it grows from strength to strength.
